Bookings Policy
Cancellation
SEBDA is a registered charity and is unable to bear the costs or loss of income incurred if a booking is later cancelled. Bookings are therefore accepted subject to the cancellation policy set out below:
- for cancellations received in writing at SEBDA head office in Manchester before Friday 30th April 2010, you will receive a full refund less a 10% administration charge.
- for cancellations received in writing between 1st May and Monday 12th July, 2010, you are liable for 25% of the full cost of your booking (as specified in your booking form or and/or subsequent amendments);
- for cancellations received in writing between Tuesday 13th July and Monday 9th August, 2010, you are liable for 50% of the full cost of your booking (as specified in your booking form or and/or subsequent amendments);
- cancellations made on or after Tuesday 10th August, 2010, the full amount of your booking is payable.
Delegates may make arrangements for a substitute to attend in their place at any time.
Disclaimer
Bookings are accepted on the basis that delegates are responsible for making their own arrangements for transport to and from the International Conference. In the even that the Conference is not held for any reason, SEBDA will not be responsible in whole or in part for any losses incurred as a result of the cancellation. Delegates are advised to make appropriate arrangements for insurance to cover any potential losses. Please note that any part of the Conference programme may be subject to change or alteration.
Data protection
SEBDA is mindful of Data Protection and delegates should be aware that the details they provide will be stored on the Association's database. SEBDA will not pass on any of this information to any other companies or organisations. The information held will b used to ensure efficient administration of your booking and also allows you to be kept informed of the Association's activities and future training/professional development opportunities.
