SEBDA International Conference 2010 · Keble College, Oxford, UK

Call for Papers: Deadline for proposals 30th March 2010

Transforming Troubled Lives:

the impact of research, policy and practice on Children and Young People with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

There is increasing international concern about the behaviour of children and young people whose troubled lives present challenges to themselves, the adults who care for them and the professionals who work with them. Governments and NGOs have funded and developed a wide range of interventions which are implemented by professionals across social, judicial, health and educational agencies when trying to address the needs of this vulnerable group.

Papers from practitioners, policy makers, administrators and researchers are invited. It is envisaged that papers will address aspects of policy, practice and provision for these children and young people. Accepted papers will have an emphasis on evidence based practice, demonstrate good practice and innovation, and show positive outcomes. They will provide insights into ways of working with and providing for children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
